Cowgirl
Chocolate questions. So I have never used chocolates in taming I don't think, if I have I don't remember doing it. So I have a few questions that I would appreciate answers for before I go accidentally wasting any lol. 1. You force feed them to taming animals for the 50%, right? 2. Do you HAVE to use it before any kibble is fed or can you get it 30% done with kibble and then toss the chocolate on to be 80% done (after the 50% is added from the chocolates) and finish with more kibble? 3. If you are taming a passive animal can you put it in your 0 slot to get that animal to 50%? Thanks for any answers!
Volunteer Moderator invincibleqc Posted February 17, 2020 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted February 17, 2020 Correct. You can use it whenever, and it will increase the taming bar by 50%. No, cannot be used for passive tames.
Castlerock
Isnt it 40% taming progress instead of 50%?

Castlerock
According to ark wiki in the past it used to be 50% then changed to 40%, prob from when u used it long ago?
Campi
Don't use it before you have kibble in its inventory - cause else the taming progress will start to drop again since it counts the same as if you would have tamed it to 50% and ran out of taming food (taming progress starts to drop quickly). SeMmSeM
Think its best to kibble it first then force feed the chocolate so that it dosent drop progress.

Thats the weird part, I just read the wiki like 3 days ago, HOWEVER my TV makes the text teeny so I may have misread or maybe they just recently changed the wiki.
