Please help, Devs or anyone, "assertion issue"

I've recently downloaded ark (on PC, windows 10) and what i found is that i cant join any of the "custom ark" maps (ragnarok, the centre and valguero) on a server or single player. It doesn't even start loading the map, i press "play single player" i wait for a few second and then i get this error:

This exact error comes up for all 3 of the custom ark maps, however it doesn't come up for any of the "story arks"; it loads me into "the island" map just fine and i can play without running into any issues. However i bought PC ark to run a ragnarok map as a server that my friends and i can play on. I've tried deleting any game files with "ragnarok" in the name then "veriy(ing) integrity of game files" on steam but i still ran into the same issue, then I tried to uninstalled the game and installed it back again, the same issue occurred. I restart my PC the same thing happened, i tried shutting down my PC for 5 min and again the same thing. After this i tried trouble shooting using the ark website, however that didn't help.
I really feel like i'm running into dead ends here. I spent a fair amount of money on this game, and now i cant even use it for the reason i bought it. I'd appreciate any help, please understand this is a frustrating problem.

Are you sure thr maps are downloaded and installed?

I know you have to do it manually on the steam version after the game is installed.

oh ok, ill try do that, thanks. That would explain why i cant find those maps in the game files.
