Question About CrossPlay Server Clusters

I took a pretty long break from Ark but picked up the Genesis dlc so I started playing a bit again while I wait.

I understand how server clusters work and how to transport my character/items between them. I last played back when abberation came out and I remember having transported ravagers and wingsuits back to the island.

My question is about engrams specific to each DLC.

I know some engrams can only be learned on certain maps. My question is outside of picking up blueprints on the specific maps and transporting them back, is there a way to learn engrams with points from the different maps and use them on the other maps?

For example, many of the scorched earth engrams are specific to that map. Is there a way to train those engrams and then still be able to make the items on the island if I transport the mats? Or are they just blocked and only buildable on the scorched earth map?

Or can I only train scorched earth engrams if my character started on the scorched earth map?

You have to travel to specific maps to learn some engrams.

But once learned, you can make the items on any map.

thanks.  So i dont have to start my character on scorched earth to be able to learn SE engrams my character just as to be on that map. got it.
