Need Help with diving! Looking for advice.

I have seen people go exploring underwater and it looked really fun. I wanted to try it out so I tamed up 3 baryonyx.(all female oops) and the highest was level 68. About 350 melee and 4k health I had heard about the stun ability and saw how good it was. I then saw a diploc in the swamp I lived by and rescued it from pirhanas, I named her bubbles. Also, in that same swamp I tamed a level 56 sarco. I have the resources to craft about 3 scuba tanks but if I use bubbles I wont need those so who should I use? ShouldI use a combination of multiple with cryopods? What tame should I go for first? What types of kibble should I bring? What should I level?  Any help would be appreciated thankyou!

Ok, as someone who hates the underwater and has used both dinos!

Honestly, it depends on how deep you intend on going and what you intend on doing. If you just want to explore around the shallower areas, a bary will be great to fight off the megalodons. If you're looking to mine and collect pearls, a bary with a small escort of sarcos and barys will also work well; at least until you get a dunky.

If you want to explore deeper, Diplocaulus. Since you'll be running from instead of fighting everything down there! If you're looking at taming a tuso, probably use a diplocaulus there over a bary as well.

As for what to tame, I can't comment on the place of mosas and plesies, and I'd assume whether you're in PvP or PvE would make a difference; but from a singleplayer perspective, some good tusos have served me great. I don't know about kibbles, but tusos are passive tames with black pearls, and so I'd recommend looking up some guides on taming them if you intend to, since they're.. tricky. I was able to do it with just a diplocaulus, but you'll probably want to have a separate creature for bait. A dunky may also be a good choice- again, never actually used one myself, but especially depending on the maps you're playing on, they could be very useful for getting oil and such (Wiki says superior kibble for them).
