DrSmith
I've found a buried creature... My parasaur has detected the tamed creature. I see only red circle in the air, but there is no rock under it. So it's looks like it's not a purlovia. I brought my diplodocus and tried to unbury the creature. It didn't work. What creature can it be? How can I unbury it? Spoiler
SnowboundGem
Did this creature spawn in the rock? Is the rock breakable?

No, the distance between the rock and the red marker is about 2-3 meters. I broke all rocks around that place, but diplodocus couldn't do anything. SnowboundGem
Ohh from the angle I saw it maybe in the rock I have had Dino's rock spawn before. I don't know how to advise but I am confused is it PvP or pve? I don't know how that could help it was a random question.
TheEclipseee
I mean what that instantly brings my mind to is Icthys, pegos and the like. Small creatures that move so fast they're usually gone by the time the dot shows up. Or maybe a titanomyrma sinking into the ground..?

When the parasaur detects the creature, the red circle have the same position. The location of the place is something around (36.1, 58.8), it's the top of the mountain, so it doesn't look like some creature is moving so fast there. yekrucifixion187
Probably a Reaper or Basilisk. May take a lot of C4 to pop out. Can try a gasbag blow too (does a reaper tail attack pop out buried creatures? Not sure on that one. What about a Yuty fear?)
Piffguru
reaper/basalisk/purlovia are the ones people store stuff on underground. Try swinging at it with a torch, or using c4 to get it to come up. There are endless youtube videos of people flying around with parasaurs searching for underground stashes, check some of those out. DeHammer
Meshing possible?
GrumpyBear
You could try blowing it w/ a gasbag. I know when i use my gasbag, all my reapers pop up out of the ground. I'm not sure if that works on wilds or on other peoples tames but you could try it.
TheEclipseee
The thing is though, reapers, basilisks, and purlovia all have very distinct markers when they're buried. I can't think of any creature that is invisible under the ground- With the exception of a very specific bug with basilisks which causes all visual markers (name, dirt pile, tail etc), except the popup floating info box when the person who owns it looks at it, to disappear. But given the specificness of it, I feel it's far more likely it's just something under the mesh. Try using K mode to look underneath? Then again, it's probably entirely possible that it is one of those other creatures, and it's just invisible for whatever reason even though it shouldn't be. This is ARK, after all lol.
