NA5AThRiLz
Creating a server? So Im looking to create a server with me and my friend. Is there any server carriers that have permanent servers? I found some server hosts and they are only for like 30 days or you have to pay like $10 every 30 days or something like that. (my friend is on xbox and im on PC)
Spiral3
$10 for 30 days sounds like a pretty good deal. And this way you only pay for as many months as you're gonna use it.
ImJustAsking
Yeah, that seems to be the standard. $10 for 10 players for 30 days. If you look up JayCartere and check his Ark videos out, he has a 10% off code in his description if you're using Nitrado. (There are others I've seen offering discount codes, but he's the first I seen when starting a server). Maybe you and your friend go half? That's like, $4 each with the discount. Solid. (my friend is on xbox and im on PC) It cost money to buy sever equipment, run it (electricity), maintain it, and offer customer support. If they offered a permanent server solution it would probably cost like $1000 and not many people would buy it. Thus you can "rent" portions of that server for a fraction of the costs. Or you can do all the above yourself and host your own probably cheaper.
