Single player Settings - What Does It Do?

Recommended Posts

There's a little option when setting up a server that says Singleplayer Settings - you can check it, and by description it "tweaks various internal settings to allow for a faster-paced experience for a lone player or small tribe." But what does it actually do?

I heard that it makes bosses easier so that it's somewhat possible to take them down alone (with your dinos), but in what means? Also, I saw that it increases egg speed hatch by 16x and baby mature rate by 32x. I'd like to know if that's true, and what else it changes, because despite being alone I really don't want to have everything super super fast.

What exactly does this option change?

Where can I read the full details of this?

If bUseSingleplayerSettings=true then the following multipliers are applied additionally to the configured (or default) values.

Attribute Tamed Tamed_Add Tamed_Affinity
0 Health × 2.125 × 3.571 × 2.273
8 Damage × 2.353 × 3.571 × 2.273

Singleplayer/non-dedicated bosses are reduced in damage and effective-HP by 67%

It's old, might have changed since but there's no mention in newer patch notes of it changing.

I don't really feel like looking through all the Patch Notes to see if that has changed, but I kind of feel like it has. My SP dinos need to be almost similar to the recommended health/melee for officials in order to beat them. Maybe slightly weaker (since I have pretty bad saddles), but definitely not 67%. That seems excessive. Is there anybody who could confirm this?
