Why is that beauty Passive i want it hostile i want a reason to be afraid to step into the shallow water not a reason to go into the water.

That said im gonna love riding on the back of that beauty and breeding them.

While the Basilosaurus itself is passive, the unruly mob it picks up is anything but. The "tricky" part here would be keeping the fellow isolated long enough to complete the tame.

For a while I was worried that the Basilosaurus wouldn't be different enough from the game's other big marine predators (the real Basilosaurus was basically just a mammalian Mosasaurus from what I can tell), so it's good to see that it has a fair amount of unique features. The blubber is a good reference to real-life whaling, I'm guessing its weakness to deep water will make it more of a mid-game water mount, probably above a Megalodon and below a Plesiosaur, and I like how they've designed it to look kind of like an orca. :)

With "more efficient" gas on the way, I take it gasoline times could be nerfed? It's extremely easy to make, so I don't really see why a more efficient gas would be necessary.

Unless of course, tek tier requires large amounts of gas.

Or  if you're like me (terrified of the ocean at any depth), and refuse to go into the water. xD I actually keep multiple Dung Beetles around for oil because as beautiful as it is, the ocean is horrifying.
