Lava.

It's in the game for very good reasons which I understand and approve of but, in caves with lava no amount of skill or gear can save you from lag spikes putting you into lava and instakilling you and making your gear completely irretrievable.

My simple idea is that when you're wearing full TEK armour you get either a 15 or 10 second lava resistance if you just so happen to fall in. I'm not saying a 100% immunity to it, just a buffer to compensate for lag.

Or instead of temporary immunity lava could debuff you and start rapidly using element to keep your suits life support system going for a very limited amount of time.

Or a consumable that makes gives you immense heat resistance for very short periods of time, again just to safe guard from lag spikes/server save lag.

Very open to criticism but saying "just avoid lava" isn't a criticism it's a stupid statement. In my head this is a suggestion to make a work around for an unfixable bit of the game (that being server save lag).

Also whilst hovering with tek armour, any lag makes you drop as it stops receiving the SHIFT button command for a split second. and if you hit shift in quick succession it barely registers.
