Can Ark run well on the GPU of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti?

Im tryna build a PC, and I was wondering if Ark can run well  on Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. I don't know much about the models of Gpus, and the requirement is  NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB or better. I guess what I'm trying to ask is; is Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Ti better than Nvidia GTX 670?

Looks like the 1660 is faster than the 670, which isn't surprising given their relative ages.

I have the 1060 Ti, which copes ok with Ark.  The 1660 is a bit better than this, so you'll be fine.  Not mega-fantastically brilliant, but absolutely playable.

I've been looking at different cards as my main pc's video card died recently (canibalized another pc so i could keep playing), several of my friends suggested the 1660 but they all said go with the 6gb card,  I guess the 3gb cards don't run so hot with ark.

... good lord, kids these days :Pthe 670 is literally 5 generations behind the one you're asking about. 670., 770, 970, 1070, 2070 / 1660 etc. It's not even worth comparing.

Try comparing a GTX 1060 3gb to the 1660 Ti. I run a 1060 and it pushes Ark on near maximum settings, with shadows and ground clutter distance both turned to low. It pushes Aberration blue zone playable well and is just fine everywhere else.

I'm betting your 1660 blows the 1060 away. Edit: it does, over 30% faster. Yeah, you're fine.

My EVGA 1660Ti XC Gaming Edition works fine in Ark at 1080p. However, I would recommend using the "high" preset instead of "epic" or the settings Geforce Experience uses because that preset will get you about 60 FPS while the "epic" or GE settings will get you about 30 FPS. I play on a 60hz monitor and I use VSync, so I don't see more than 60 FPS, because I don't like screen tearing.
