Syke
Private Cluster Server LAN NAT Loopback Hello! So I've been trying to setup a private Ark Cluster-server on my Laptop. Everything seemed to be working but when i tried to transfer my char to the other server, it didnt let me. I am connected to my server with a 2nd computer over LAN. Others were able to transfer over to the other Server but I wasn't. I did some research on this topic but couldn't find anything helpful. I found out that other people had the same problem and that the only solution to this problem is something called a NAT Loopback. I checked if my router supports that and I'm pretty sure it does. My Problem is: I don't understand how to setup the NAT Loopback. It asks for a MAC address and I'm guessing its the MAC address of the computer running the Server so i added that one but it still didn't work. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, please let me know. Thank you!
Amarisus
It looks like that setting is for bridging two routers together, which can be done for several reasons but I don't think this has much to do with what your trying to do. Unfortunately I don't know how to do what your asking.
Larkfields
Some routers have NAT-loopback on by default, some don't allow it, some allow it to be configured. You need to find the manual for your specific router ?
Sphere
Enable nat-loopback if not on by default. If not available, your modem is probably a cheap model.
