StoppedRock Posted August 7, 2019 Share Posted August 7, 2019 Windows 10 Server Issues I host a dedicated server on a PC for me and some friends to play on our Xbox’s. I am having to reset the server every day, sometimes multiple times a day because the server becomes unjoinable. When I look at the Admin Manager on the PC, it seems the game is still up and running. We normally join the server, by selecting the Microsoft account from our friends list and selecting “Join Game”. This option becomes unselectable multiple times a day. My PC is on 24/7 and doesn’t go to sleep so that the server stays up. Any ideas or help to fix the issue is greatly appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nights0ng Posted August 11, 2019 Share Posted August 11, 2019 This sounds similar to what mine is doing. I've noticed that if the remote desktop connection is not held open I can't connect to the server. Tested it quite a few times and shortly after hitting disconnect on my remote desktop session the xbox will say it lost connection to the host. Makes it unplayable for me at this point.
