d1nk
Any new Tactics / Tips for Alpha Rockwell in 2019? Hello, Been looking around for some current rockwell strats, were attempting alpha in the near future. We have 4-6 players in the alliance, good rock drake saddles, good mega line and saddle bp, some decent reapers and can breed the dinos needed if suggested. Things still the same? Mostly mounted rock drakes, shotguns for dps and megalo or stegos for reapers and such? Any new ideas would be appreciated and will be shared amongst the general pop via google search results
shadowfirexii
To add on to this can lv 85 players participate in the boss fight as well and can tek rifles be used in the arena since tek armor can be used in the arena?
arkark
We always do the same raid composition and never wiped: if we are 8 players we bring 8 rockdrakes (>15k hp and good saddle) and every rider with a good shotgun, a lighpet and flak gear. Every time the tentacles are up we focus on bringing down the 2 ones that are near the teleporting zone so this zone becomes secure, and 2 or 3 ppl moves across the circle killing tentacles while the rest focus on cleaning any reaper or nameless that approach the safe area and also shooting at the balls. Repeat until the boss is dead. There is no need to bring megalos, but if you bring just use them to tank reapers but have in mind they wont be able to finish reapers fast without help, as they usually attack with the second skill not the main bite. GrumpyBear
We did it with 3 rock drakes 2 on stegos and one on a spino. The stegos can be pumped to 30k hp and last forever the drake riders can move around and the guy on spino clears the reapers and gives the stegos some protection. The spino rider was completely optional, we also had a second spino following the spino rider. And set up 2 megas in front of the stegos to just give an added shield. We had no deaths, lost a spino and a bulb but the spino rider just hopped onto the backup one following him and the bulb wasn’t needed cus he could just stay near the stego riders and use their lights to weaken the mobs. And I think the spino died cus we forgot to put a good saddle on it. Spino rider was able to grab a ton of venom to help heal up the drakes who had run out of venom. GrumpyBear
For meat shields I think the megas would have been 10k base ones pumped to about 18k or 20k with good saddles. The spinos I used were also only pumped to 18k hp with 124 armor saddle on one and the other... But with new megas at 17k base you can hit 20k with no points spent.... so u could pump them to 30k easy and still be murderous with 708 base melee.
