Noric
Wyvern Stamina Do wyverns lose stamina while unridden and attacking in the air? I could save so many levels knowing that I didn’t need to pump stamina.
HippyHippo4
I believe stamina does recover while it does not have a rider even when flying on any flyer but as soon as the rider dismounts than the flyer will automatically land (im not sure about a Griffin but every other flyer does this as far as i know). For example in your case a wyvern will land as soon as someone dismounts it, I would think this is in case someone has bumped the dismount button (E by default on pc) so it is not too difficult to find them again but this what i've seen and idk if this is true or false. hezsq
Unridden tames dont use stamina however wyverns have a very large turn animation so very slow to kill little dinos they just turn around them forever.
DMTKenna
I believe griffins do land when dismounted however I've been disconnected while at high altitude on a griffin an when I relogged and returned to my dead body griffin was stuck hovering way up in the air. Had to bring another flyer to retrieve him.
Nicoli612
Flyers normally land when dismounted, griffins included. But if you dismount by being disconnected it doesn't seem to trigger that most of the time. Many is a time I've had to get another flyer or get a lift up to my hovering flying mount after a DC
