Tek Dedicated Storage (Minor Fix/Minor Feature)

Minor Fix:

Issue: When you place the Dedicated Storage anyone can access it while in the (Locked) State unless you put a Pin Code on it but even then people can Brute Force Pin Codes.

Fix: Make the Dedicated Storage just like any other Storage Container Tribe only unless in the Unlocked state or Pin Coded.

Minor Feature:

Currently: Only Resources that are in the Players Inventory can be Deposited.

Future: Resources can be Pulled from Dino Inventories.

So when you place the Tek Dedicated Storage it will by Locked by Default. If someone not in your Tribe walks up to it they can Withdraw and Deposit whatever the Item the Storage is set to.

That is correct, and a lot of the PvE community are not used to this kind of access being given by default, I'm aware that PvP is different and some things are unlocked by default but this is huge on PvE that you can have 180,000 element and a random person comes and takes it all, hada. Fair few friends lose a lot of resources this way now

I agree this is not how almost all of us want it to function, but it is not possible to access its inventory screen while it is locked, to the best of my knowledge

 

The thing you list as a minor feature is unlikely to happen as it would mean implementing the s+ resource pulling feature which makes the game so much easier as if it's pulling from Dino's then what's to stop it pulling from other inventories too, then you have an empty replicator smithy fabricator with the ability to craft every blue print straight away
