NoxiousArk Posted April 24, 2019 Share Posted April 24, 2019 Noxious Servers Noxious Servers are casual PVPVE server, we want our players to build civilizations, trade and go to war with each other. To promote this more we have some simple rules to focus on fun with PVP and building up factions/civilizations. The specifics of these rules, and other rules will be found lower. To keep the server running, we have a VIP system in place for those who decide to donate. We want people to donate because they like our server, not because they get any sort of advantage over other players however we still want to reward them for donating to us. We do have rewards, but we make very sure that they are cosmetic only and will not affect the general economy of trade, or make a tribe OP for donating. Specifics can be found in our Discord, or down below. We use a few mods, and have a collection https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1661280939] here to browse. There aren't many mods, but they make the experience of the game much more enjoyable. We are also always open to suggestions for more mods, to remove some, and general changes to our server. Server Rules 1.Keep trolling to a minimum 2.Be respectful to other players, and avoid spamming the chat 3.No cheating, hacking, or exploiting 4.Be mature, and demonstrate good sportsmanship, repeatedly doing so will merit rewards 5.You may not create griefing structures such as player spawn traps. 6.You may not block obelisks, artifact caves, or all drops (one or two with your base is fine). There is an exception with caves, you may put a gate over the entry way to prevent creatures from getting out on the condition that you leave it unlocked. 7.No caging players for any longer than 6 hours outside of a extended raid, the max for this is 3 days, but they cannot be unconscious for that period if you decide to take them prisoner. There are exceptions made to this rule. 8.You may not have more than 6 auto turrets on any platform saddle. (Boat, Quetz, etc.) Furthermore, a flyer with a platform, MUST allow for the dino and rider to be exposed from at least 3 directions. 9.You may only keep 3 raid dinos at a time (titanosaur, extinction titans) 10.While offline raiding is not against the rules, we highly discourage it, no one wants to log in to a wiped base. 11.You may foundation wipe outposts, and other minor structures but not the primary base/Settlement. You may also only kill half of a player's tames on passive. "Popcorning" items in someones base to completely wipe them is strictly prohibited 12.After being raided, you may apply for a 3 day cool down, which will be recorded in the discord. 13.If you or your dino gets stuck, contact an admin, or mod, but try to avoid getting stuck 14.Avoid structure spam, let's keep the server lag free! 15. Obelisks are PVP free zones, and as such you may not build a full on base there, but you may make a max 5x6 trade house. Donating/VIP Rewards As stated before, our goal with VIP rewards is to simply say thank you for donating and for keeping the server up. We do not want to be pay to win. We do have perks however, listed here. Donators get access to the following perks: -skins (per 1$ donated) both base game /dlc (EXCLUDING achievement ones. To clarify you will keep and have the ones you spawn with!) and custom when they’re added via a custom mod. -the ability to have 1 wild dino spawned per month. Keep in mind we will not tell you where it was spawned only that it was. -dino coloring service (1$ per dino) -private chat in discord -mod suggestion voting (a pre vote before it goes to the public voting) -1 extra raffle ticket in server raffles Server Settings/Specifics Our goal with settings is to find that sweet spot of not too grindy, but not too easy. This is hard to do, and it may be slightly different for everyone. These settings are always being tweaked, and said tweaks can be found in the change-log channel of our Discord. To do this goal, every 3 months we'll call a vote for a "soft" wipe. A glorious final stand in which we will have the server's members join a temporary alliance to fight against a horde of foes. If the alliance prevails, the server will be spared a wipe, but if the fail. Well, let's just say by the days end, not a structure will be left standing, as the army sweeps over the map! All bases may only have up to 8 walls layered max on a single foundation.
