iHartOvi8 Posted March 26, 2019 Share Posted March 26, 2019 I currently play on a PC with an i5 8400, Gigabyte GTX 1080 OC, and 16 GB of DDR4. Soon to be i7 8700k, GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB DDR4. I'm not real familiar with that price range without going and looking in to it, but can definitely give you a few pointers and useful websites. UserBenchmark.com is very useful for comparing components, thebottlenecker.com is very useful for making sure bottlenecking won't be an issue, and of course PCpartpicker is great. Being a budget build, I'd probably recommend AMD. Motherboards are generally cheaper and the stock cooler is actually usable so that can really help keep the price down. I'd also strongly suggest considering going with used for your RAM and your graphics card. It can save you a lot of money, or let you do much better for the same price. Just be sure that you buy from somewhere that you're protected(such as ebay rather than craigslist) and stress test the parts before it's too late to get a refund(I use OCCT).
