Xero4444
I think really good in th beginning was when I got my first strong dino of another friendly tribe.. The first weeks in ark are really hard in defending your stuff. So maybe there is a friendly tribe which can help you out with some kind of a bodyguard, which is too low for breeding, but very helpful for the early game ? huntlythe3rd
I would say taming a proficient berry picker is one of the best beginning tames, as well as a meat farmer like a carno!
rpicardi1
There are topics on this in other areas of the forum that I posted a long time ago. The best advice for new players is to play single player to learn the game, then later join a private server. If on PC, you can invite a friend or be invited by one into a single player game using Host, Local. Set the tedder distance to a higher number to give your invited player more freedom to roam around. For gameplay, spawn in a safe zone in the South. Always be aware of your surroundings. It is much easier to avoid danger then to run from it after a predator agros on you. Look and listen. The environment will alert you to what is going on before something actually happens. Have fun. Don't be afraid to experiment. Learn and survive.
