Setting up a Home PC Dedicated LAN Server without paying extra $10 a month

Hi I have two xbox ones that have Ark already and got the idea to run a home server so my PC's and Xbox'es can all connect for a fun family server just for us.

I am downloading the Microsoft Store version of Ark now but it made me sign up for a 14 day free trial that turns in to $10 a month.  I already own the game on two Xbox'es so I was hoping to not have to purchase it again.  Does anyone have a good link to a tutorial for setting it up on a Silver account when you only have the game on Xbox to start with?  

Or can anyone who has set up like this confirm that once I have the downloads I should be able to cancel my $10 a month thing without penalty after the 14 days?

You need to sign in to the Xbox app on pc with the silver account to run the server. Then start ARK on pc and you should log in with that account automatically. Then setup the game the way you want it, select run dedicated server and once it's started join via that gamertag on XB1.
