Guest EnergyDrink
Karkinos Taming With New Kibble System IMPOSSIBLE ? So basically all eggs used to make kibble for Karkinos is not on Aberation, except of the basilisk egg which is very rare, and really hard to get. Also, impossible to get prime fish meat on Aberation, so no way to cook them ? (i know i can get some from fishing, but that is kind of luck and random) What do you guys think ? What would be the best solution? Exceptional Kibble Eggs: Basilisk Egg Bronto Egg Giganotosaurus Egg Quetzal Egg Rex Egg Tek Quetzal Egg Tek Rex Egg Therizino Egg Yutyrannus Egg All dinos DONT EXIST ON ABE. Except basilisk..... We can only hope that WG sees the error of their ways, the kibble rework was supposed to make things better, not worse.
Oalka
Just pointing out; prime fish you can get from killing salmon and harvesting with a sickle. I don't remember if there are salmon in the rivers or the upper lake, but there are definitely salmon in the caves.
Cowgirl
maybe they should add spino eggs into the category.
mogrot
You don't need prime fish anymore to make that kibble, but it's focal chilli now. https://ark.gamepedia.com/Kibble The eggs you need are indeed not available on aberration besides the basilisk egg. And that's indeed rare... You will need to have a farm at island for those eggs. Not logical, but ye.
GrumpyBear
We could always just use the kibble above it? not hard to get rock drake eggs. or Lets add aberrant gigas on aberration , or (not as fun of an idea) have karks drop an egg.
DESTROYER
It's a bit of a pain but you can tame them with kibble you just need rock drake eggs as the kibble will work just fine with tiers below it's level
BornSlippy
Farm rock drake eggs in red zone which isn't too hard then tame some low level basilisk like level 5 on 2x. 1 male and a bunch of females and eventually the eggs will start stacking up nicely. noodaboy
Playing strictly in one dlc is really fun. Heck playing dinoless can be too. But if youre gonna start taming good dinos, it might be better to accept the idea that Current Ark is made to be played with crossing servers in mind. Its one of the principal features of ark. Vaculity
The main problem was that Spinos and Megalosaurus were like that as well prior to Kibble Rework and prior to Transfers being open in Aberration. Their kibbles are Argentavis and Oviraptors respectively and the only way around getting kibbles for it would be through transfers since you can't bring the said dino in, which is erroneous. Now this applies to Karkinos, which eggs for the kibble to feed it can't be gained from most (but one) dino since they can't be brought over, and only way around is by transferring the egg instead. There is a rather low chance they will fix it, SINCE they never even bothered about this issue prior to the announcement of Kibble Rework, and it has already been an issue since the start of Aberration. Except that this process is still not robust and fail safe, and there as still people losing stuff, dinos or their character when transferring. It's just a sloppy implementation where the player file gets moved around.
