dodogal
correct me if I'm wrong but besides the 24h cooldown you can now use mindwipe as much as you want on any given level? please only answer if you actually tested in game (no guess)
brownievec
yes true. used to always be this way except no cool down either . changing it to once per level was kinda harsh but got used to it . why the u-turn , maybe just for maxed out characters who loose this ability , now everyone can mindwipe now
Wazzamaniac
Just now, brownievec said: yes true. used to always be this way except no cool down either . changing it to once per level was kinda harsh but got used to it . why the u-turn , maybe just for maxed out characters who loose this ability , now everyone can mindwipe now Probably because it didn't really balance anything and was an unfun change to the game

But I understand the need to limit mindwipe since you can mindwipe to craft and re mindwipe to fight, there is no challenge/plan ahead/balance in points allocation anymore. Can you just confirm you actually tested in game and not just guessing?
brownievec
can only confirm from a pve perspective but as it has only just released the 12hr cooldown I cannot confirm . other than , I had a crafting character i now want to use in tek cave and so was getting close to level up but now have been able to wipe before hand

Good changes.
Vaculity
The 24hour cooldown for Mindwipe applies to all server, PvP or PvE wise.
Demerus
The original change wasn't necessary in the first place so I welcome a 24h c/d as a nice compromise. Being forced to save banked lvl ups was dumb.
Cowgirl
I would have welcomed a 2 week cool down, so happy they finally did a cool down, it was so much pressure to have to make sure you don't waste engram points, which meant I couldn't assist as many newbies because I didn't want to go and learn this or that engram to help a newbie if it meant I would need it later! Nuggie
My server hasn't been up since the patch, but it works in single player. The cool down timer is on the mind wipe consumable itself.
