Klakky
For those in beta whats it like? Does kibble finally tame to 224 on 1x?
Vaculity
It makes everything easy. Let's just put it that way. It also makes taming Yuty with highest possible efficiency much easier since previously it is tedious to get kibbles for it to the point mutton is the only second best thing. TheBlastMage
This is all judging by what is on the wiki, but here is what things look like based on that: A recent update made Rock Drake and Wyvern eggs to be "Special" tier, meaning they are needed for Griffens, Karkinos, Megalania, Rock Elementals and Thylacoleos. This is a huge increase in availability for these creatures, though it also makes some of them much harder to acquire early in the game. For instance, right now Karkinos need Turtle egg kibble to tame, but now they will need either a Golden Hesperonis egg or you have to go steal an egg from the trenches to make the kibble, making them much harder to perfect tame than they were before. At least now they don't need Titanoboa eggs anymore. On a similar note, it seems there is no kibble tree anymore, as all dinos appear to be isolated in their own egg groups with little to no mixing (aka. a dino that needs basic kibble will never produce an egg for simple kibble). This is a double-edged sword, it means in order to get to the next "tier" of dinos, you must reach out and tame a dino of that tier with mutton or prime meat in order to get eggs for future tames. However once you have some dinos of that tier, it becomes very easy to reach out and tame any other dino in that tier without needing to go find any additional creatures. Overall it seems like the idea is to tame lower level carnivores with mutton or prime, get lots of eggs, then use those to tame what you want from each tier. This limits players to, at most, 5 dino types which are kept solely for kibble. Since some of these dinos are also useful, the amount of unused dinos should decrease as time goes on. Lastly, it opens up the possibility to tame certain dinos that were once much harder to tame. Theris now can use the much more common Rex eggs, as can Basilos, Yutys and Gigas. Some dinos take more work than others now, but progression will be much smoother since you don't need to tame every creature on the island before you can get the dino you want. Kennyry83
Does the kibble rework apply to imprinting as well or just taming?
MotherOfRaptors
why does megalania requires the hardest to get kibble and giga not... It does not make any sense to me
