Fun with Gigas & Wyverns

So recently our tribe decided to tame a couple of Giga's near our bases on NE corner of Ragnarok. We set our sights on one, but the plan went down so smoothly we decided 'why stop there'? So we tamed a second one in the same ARK day. We created a temporary pen for them at the bottom of a waterfall at the edge of the redwoods, not far from the Wyvern Trench. The two Giga's were male & female, so we decided to start a Giga breeding program. The original two Giga's still live in the pen with their first born. 

Then the fun really started. We started drawing the wyverns from 'The Trench', through the Giga pen. The wyverns only last seconds, even if there are 2-3 of them in the pen at once. It makes for a good way to rid the trench of wyvern before we raid for eggs, it feeds the Giga's, we also get all of the bounty the wyverns drop, and its pretty darn fun. 

 

Anyone else come up with creative ways to take care of wyverns before raiding for eggs? Was also thinking a 'cage' with walls of trigger happy Velonasaurs might be interesting to build.

Yes, I made a giga enclosure out of 10 behemoth gates near Trench on SE and put 5 gigas and 3 rexes in there. And there I go and steal 1 egg to get attention. The whole group of wyverns like 15 to 20 individuals follow me to their demise. Those wyverns won't last even a minute.

I made a turret emplacement (just a 2x2 metal box) with a couple of auto turrets and a few heavy turret in the Highlands of Ragnarok. Grab an egg and lure all the wyverns over the turrets. Pretty fun watching all the wyverns being shredded. Just annoying to keep the turrets stocked up.

I’m thinking about doing something like this but use velonasaurs instead. Maybe with a few Rex’s to back them up.

We use rock golem the ai attack from the wyvern doesn't effect the golem
