There is no "best", just best for a task - yes wyverns are great to get around on (the OP said PvE after all), but griffins are quicker and argys and quetzes carry more... Usually for killing and harvesting meat too. is there anything which really compares to its speed? HippyHippo4 Posted February 12, 2019 Share Posted February 12, 2019 yes it depends on a few things but there is no overall best dino/ creature! For example I use the owl for transport, argy for transporting small gathering dinos, golem for stone (and wood sometimes), mammoth for wood, rhino for thatch, giga for meat, etc. Different dinos are equipped for different situations making them more useful for certain situations than others.
