Cowgirl
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew exactly how many food points a gacha eats in one day if not provided food? Thanks!
Wazzamaniac
Its not horrible. If you wanna be safe just park a snow owl in front of it, it will barf a pellet and the gacha will pick it up and eat as needed (eventually it will slotcap itself)

Unless you are trying to get it to drop a crystal by feeding other things, it won't normally eat owl poop since it only does that when you are doing so and it doesn't have any light on its back. I had two gacha parked near the owl (both were opposite gender, and neither were sad). One starved even though it has an inventory filled with owl poop (it never did an "eating" animation at all, period).

Ginsu
How many days until starving, I think is around 3 or 4.
d1nk
What about parking it with snails? It eats the cp, must provide food. Ive heard of people doing this to collect CP aswell as feed them
mecandbuttons
I have a bunch that sit next to rocks no trough in sight. They are always full of food. So I don't know if eating the stone keeps it's food up and provides crystals. I never feed these things yet they never starve to death.

I tested stone yesterday, ran one till he was about 400 food points down and he didn't eat any rocks. Then again I don't know what the food value of a rock for a gollum is so that might affect it (if the food is 150 it wont eat till below that)

That is what I was hoping to calculate, I do a mass feeding once a week and then for specific ones I get on and feed mid week too, just wanting to know if I need to add them to that, or check on them even more often lol
ErnestTheGamer
I have 5 gacha’s in the Dino leash on roam and they gather their own food. There’s plenty of rocks and a couple of tree’s they have been surviving for a few months I play on the extinction map PVE official and my base is in the forest. Moonie1
I feed my gachas berries once a week (sundays for x2 gathering). They are always the dino with the lowest food and always a pain in the butt to wait for them to eat up to max.

marshroom
Have you made sure it’s harvest settings are correct? It will eat anything for food except pellets, even poo
GrumpyBear
Gacha food goes up from eating eggs, berries , and meat. If you want them to not starve - feed them food just like you would a megatherium or a dire bear. They are sloths by the way, just like megatheriums are. marshroom
They must only eat poo when they have pellets then. I have mine collecting past from snail poo and it eats some if it gets hungry but I still get loads out of inventory. Put a leash down with snails in and they will live forever lol
MissRed
They will eat from a trough to keep them from starving but won't produce crystals when eating from the trough

mecandbuttons
Park them next to breakable rocks. You'll never have to feed them. I have never feed 4 of my gachas because they sit next to rock piles. They are always full of food. No trough in site

I don't have any rocks within my base walls unfortunately though!
