Melcreif
I started building a Mana trap last night using a bunch of pillars and it occurred to me that I might lose some of it due to the incredibly short Auto-decay timer for pillars. My question is how many pillars stacked together does it take to avoid that 12 hour timer?
MicheaBoab
As long as there is only pillar attach to it (stacks them) it still share the 12hour timer. To avoid the 12 hour timer just put a ladder on it then the decay time will be longer (thatch 4dau Wood 8day stone 12day and metal 16day tek will be even longer)

I still don't get where 12 hours is a good idea. Why not 2 days or something? I figure I lost about 60 or 70 pillars from work I did last night so this is just a bad game design plan to fix a bunch something that only affects PVE. Highlander27
Yea and the problem is that it didn't even fix anything for PVE, it just made pillar people have to burn a ladder and a pillar for each one.
