Chivas39
So this is my first time playing ARK and running a dedicated server. I was able to create the server on my PC with a separate gamertag and I was able to join it using my regular gamertag. My question is if I were to exit the game on my PC is all the progress we make on the server erased or is it saved locally on my PC? If I close the game on my PC can I open start up the same server I made again?
Boom7698
No it’s not erased your good you can close it, when you close it and decided you want to get back on just pick dedicated server again run it and everything you did will still be there

The game is bad enough on the xbox version for single player saves now you take that xbox version and port it to PC .. ugh lol Save lots. Make daily backups before you log or at the very minimum weekly Edit: I should clarify were mostly talking about corrupt save files and general game breaking bugs, backups help you if affected by either
