banggugyangu
I don't believe the cloning process has any bearing on whether or not the dinos can be bred, but I don't know for sure. I've never spent the time/resources for cloning since you don't get any imprint bonuses.
Weiss
Yes, they can mate. We cloned some female rexes so we could get eggs faster.
yekrucifixion187
Yes. I find the best use is to clone stuff with good stats to either; A) Get that stat to breed into your line B) Unbreedables with no imprint like a Basilisk or Karkino's. If you find a great stat one it's just like taming it yourself. This helped on Extinction as someone had a 195 melee female Giga. We now have 4 females with the 195 base melee which allowed us a decent base stat for breeding while letting us do red orbital drops and 50k veins much sooner. I think the biggest wastes of cloning is Reapers and Wyv's since you can't breed them and lose imprint values but I'm a stat guy over colors. LordKelbor
as a side note, can you clone clones?
banggugyangu
Yes, this one I know for sure. Clones can indeed be cloned.
OMCWILDCAT
Just FYI the production of the gachas are random at birth so breeding two dust gachas is not guaranteed to give you another dust gacha.
Weiss
I'm not 100%, but I believe that cloning a clone is a little bit cheaper than cloning the original (even if it's unleveled). If you remember to compare the costs of an unleveled original and it's clone, I'd appreciate if you can share your findings here @jjt
Devilrider
this was a question that was asking me these days, thank you very much.

Cloning Reapers is one of the main goals to clone dinos. from level 5 to 50 they are cheap to clone and are used massively on wars.

Yiu
Yeah, it's a lot better to just clone then breed. So much faster
