TR-8R
My tribe leader 's steam profile have gone silent for almost 2 years and the rest of the tribemate agree that he will never come back to Ark , or even worse , something bad may have happened to him IRL . Yet without the tribe leader , none of the admin can set tribe setting . So will WC admin agree to come and change tribe leadership if everyone in the tribe request to ? Because according to the rule , only tribe leader can submit ticket but if he gone for too long , then how the tribe submit request ? How to transfer ownership if tribe leader no longer play and unable to contact ?
Volunteer Moderator invincibleqc Posted November 29, 2018 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted November 29, 2018 You can try to submit a Support Ticket but unfortunately, I really don't think Game Masters gets involved into tribe leadership.
Nightchade
You'd be wrong. In cases like this, support has, in the past, changed the ownership of the tribe to an active member. There was a Reddit post about it yesterday, in fact. So, yes, a support ticket would be the way to go to get this resolved.

(Not counting the recent yesterday post on Reddit)

Cowgirl
If this has been on for 2 years you must be on a legacy server, they don't get support. You can try a ticket but don't expect it to be answered because of that, though I do wish you luck.
Jemcrystal
I smellz a possible feature. We should have tribe seconds-in-command that would gain leadership if the leader did not log in after a month. If no one designated as a 2nd then it auto go to the first who was invited. Just an idea.

If you started the tribe a while ago and he's been silent for 2 years, then you're probably on Legacy servers and you won't have any Dev support. Your best bet would be to begin destroying all things you can to gather mats, unclaim whatever dinos you can. If you can't unclaim dinos, breed up a bunch of eggs and use the dinos you have to farm up mats to build a new base. If you don't have tribe admin privileges to demolish structures and you want to keep the base location, build up a stockpile of C4 and when you leave the tribe disable all defenses and blow the place to smithereens. Alternatively, you could cut your losses and move your tribe to current servers that have dev support...basically a fresh start.
