Extinction installation... to delete and start again or...

So all, I have been reading that people have had huge issues with the downloading and installation of the DLC.

I for one am heading home shortly, but wanted to know who has installed the update successfully and what did they do?

I know some people have stated its 18gb, others 30gb... and I am fully aware that it will be a compressed file so you will need more space on your drive than that... any ideas exactly how much?

Im guessing 130gb, so the original game size and then the expansion on top.

I can either attempt the download and then hope I dont get the dreaded message of 'not enough space' or I can delete ARK altogether and install from scratch. 

What are your suggestions... and no, offhand, I dont know how much space is currently left on my SSD.

UPDATE** For anyone who is interested, I just left my pc on and it slowly downloaded 18gb of data. The updating/installing side took about 4hrs in total but it worked and I had 140gb free on SSD.
