Jen 1,719
Happy Patch Day, Survivors! It's Tuesday and ARK's latest patch is live on all platforms. First off, be sure to tune in to the Xbox channel on Mixer at 2pm EST today to see a brand new Extinction creature teaser during their stream! We're also sharing some more previews of our upcoming expansion pack ARK: Extinction. Check out the images below for a sneak peak at what you can expect to see on planet Earth! In Extinction, Earth has become an Element-infested planet filled with fantastical creatures both organic and technological. Element has ravaged the planet and corrupted both the landscape and some of its inhabitants, causing mutations in the creatures and plants that can be found there. This will be the last Extinction Chronicles related event and screenshot teasers on patch day before Extinction release. We hope that you've been enjoying them, and we're very excited to be sharing the entirety of Extinction with you very soon. Our Extinction Chronicles V event is going on right now, including new Corrupted skin, Explorer Notes, and Tek dinos. You can read all about it in yesterdays Community Crunch announcement: View full article

At the moment I just think "It is going to be okay", considering the stupid Titan Limitations of 1 of each alive and temporary tame. I hope one can change that as Unofficial Server Owner like we can with Titano and Unicorn.

Guest chancho33015
Cool new looks, the maps looks fun, but are are the corrupted creatures different from the other Ark's dinos? or are they just skinned differently? So far, I like what i see. But I do hope that those dinos have something different to offer... Also, expecting improvements to come in dino storage for official...i hope those poketekballs or whatever they will be call allow you to store dinos permanently. That would solve so many darn problems XD
TylerRundle 0
can you add the other tek skins mosa trick

They said Corrupted Dinos can not be tamed and they will be part of this Wave System when harvesting Element. They will also attack on sight too.
Weiss 371
Uuuh fuchurs wings - does the glow mean anyhing? Some "charged" status - can only fly/glide when battery is full? Can only fly in certain areas? Or only when it's windy? Does it shiw corrupted plants or dinos nearby like the drake? Really curious what awaits us, but still hoping for SE to be completed some day... And year old bugs fixed.
Dondark 18
I guess near the bronto thats a Gasbag
Slivka 0
Kinda disappointed, the first picture shows the two creatures I was looking forward to but looking at them closely you can tell its just an argy and a rockdrake with different skins... the same tail feathers, and chest as the old argy with a smaller head on the owl. And for the dragon on the bottom left he has the same body shape and stance as a rock drake mid run. To me they look poorly designed and recycled

Oh right, I see it now, I wish these screens would not have the Steam Compression on it. I always make sure it also saves an Uncompressed Version, much better to see the details on.

destructicon54 8
Spoiler Says the great city is a sanctuary. huh. interesting. the notes also say that the obelisks are of an older model. that means that nothing was built after the arks were built. ending of the aberration note turns up my hype gage to way past the red zone. a superior threat? can't wait to find out what it is. contains spoiler information from the tek notes Edited October 16, 2018 by destructicon54
TinyHippo 452
A little bit to the left of the center of the second picture is a... thing. A very, very big thing. Flying titan? Edited October 16, 2018 by TinyHippo
destructicon54 8
i guess all the creatures are going to have that blue glow. kinda like aberration.
TinyHippo 452
Also, it looks like there's an obelisk in the very middle of the picture... although it's very blurry for some reason.
destructicon54 8
the wyrm in the first picture doesn't have fins on it's back, which proves my theory that there are multiple types, like wyverns
