Nestmind
I have have a problem,in my single player game I got several mutation during my Rex breeding program, yet none of them seemed to have an impact on the stats of the dino Is possible that I am SO unlucky that all my mutation where in speed or there are options to fix somewhere? Bark
It's possible but unlikely that all the mutated stats would be in speed. The best way to keep track of and plan your breeding is to use the 'Smart Breeding' app https://github.com/cadon/ARKStatsExtractor
stevealicious
Keep in mind also, if your breeding Dino's with different stats the mutations could occur in the lower stat passed in. Always a bummer when this happens.
Nestmind
Parents have identical stats But thanks for the advice.. I hope to have more luck then,I will try again and check if that's the case
RageQuitter
Smart Breeding should show you the level distribution if you put the stats and imprint percentage in, even if you've levelled them up since it should be fairly accurate then you can do the same with the parents and find which stat has the extra level in
Rokitur000
How many mutations did both parents have and how many mutations did the baby have?
KrackenOne
Could also be a color mutation that is not expressed on the rex skin.
JackpotMonkey
color mutations always acompany stat mutations, however there are 6 possible color regions that the color mut could go to and not all dinos have all 6 regions so often times the color mut goes to one of those or is a color that is not immediately noticable. as far as where your stat went, are ALL the visible stats identical (many people will say they are identical even though food and oxy arent, or even sometimes stam/weight) Also remember that if you are breeding for mutations you should always keep one clean parent, meaning both sides are 0/20 muts (or 0/0 in breeder shorthand) so that you are not compounding mutations. the way ark counts mutations is not intuitive, if both parents have 1/20 0/20 the resulting offspring will have 1/20 1/20 without a new mutation (a new mutation would show up as either 2/20, 1/20 or 1/20, 2/20) thus each time your breed parents that both have mutations that number compounds and increases exponentially, even tho there may only be 1 actual mutation on it. Nestmind
Both parents have the same identical stats and I have the blank one to have as a confront My mutations haven't changed a single star I will try again when I have time and check if was only really bad luck and I can get some useful ones
