The first time it got eaten by an alpha raptor, the second time It fell through the world and the third time the game crashed so I need some tips on how to tame a Tapejara effectivley by your self Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
skittles4free Posted October 9, 2018 Share Posted October 9, 2018 Create a large box with stone walls - have a minimum of a dino gate on the front. I actually just used my flyers storage area in base which had a beh gate in front. Kite the tapa by eating rare flowers and bring it back to your open gate. Dismount, close the door and bolo the tapa in the enclosed space. Then tranq it. It's safe, it's inside the box and you can tame it at leisure. Eat rare flowers higher up in the air so that everything (Pteradons, dimorphs) doesn't swarm you - rare flowers have about 8-9 seconds of use, so bring enough to kite it all the way back to your base or trap.
