xEGxShinobuu
Whats the best way you guys upkeep your snails? Ive got mine weighes down, so it makes feeding them individually cakes is a hassle. Do they eat from troughs if cakes are placed in them?
Cowgirl
If you put cakes in the trough they will rot and anything will eat them, I have mine on follow, super far distance so they dont move to a boat (another dino will work) and I have them on passive and ignore group whistles so I just shove 5 cakes in them every week and then take the remainders out 20 mins later or so
Jacira
Tame only 100+ wild levels. Level nothing but food. Keep cakes in fridge and feed once a month.
Michael99
Yeah Level food only make 5 cakes put 5 on each walk away come back in an hour or so and take rest out thats not eaten remainding cakes in fridge will spoil if not used up so I usually do a force feed on some to top of rather than let it spoil. I place mejos and crops in a trough beforehand, so other herbivores dont eat the cakes. It seems to work on feesing snails in this way, just a bit annoying as some have more food values than others. Savoroot
If you have them individually put in cages you can have them wondering and can feed them without opening the cages, makes feeding a lot easier.
yekrucifixion187
I placed mine in a pen made out of large storage boxes and let them do their thing. Large storage boxes render in before other structures so it usually fast enough to keep them confined.
