dwizard0 Posted August 9, 2018 Share Posted August 9, 2018 There is so much talk I hear about how toxic the ARK community can be, but I have always had a different experience and would like to share with you all the best example of how great a server community can be. So my wife and I are currently geographically separated do to my being in the Army, stationed in Germany, and our youngest son receiving specialized medical care in the states. One way we spend time together is on a game we play called ARK: Survival Evolved. Yesterday on the 8th of August was our 10 year wedding anniversary and my job did not allow for me to travel to the states to celebrate it. I decided that the next best thing would be to have an Anniversary Party at our base in the game so I went about planning and setting it all up. It was a wonderful success. I made special 10th Anniversary Cake & Champagne that I handed out to those who attended (A significant number of the active players on our server btw) and some of them even brought some awesome gifts. A level 300+ Therizinosaurus egg, a Griffin for my wife, and a red, white, and blue Argentavis. We had a toast to our 10 years of marriage, followed by a fireworks show. I'm glad that such things are possible on the computer, and amazed at how wonderful and kind the players on my server are. Just wanted to share this along with some pictures with everyone.
