darcek Posted August 4, 2018 Share Posted August 4, 2018 I've built a few cliff platforms on the surface cliff,and I want to connect to it a metal elevator. The cost for an elevator like that are huge, and since you cant pick back up stuff you place was wandering if anyone had an idea how I can know where to place the elevator so it sits side by side to my platform,and not go "in it" or too far from it etc.. If you haven't already, place a foundation and attach a ceiling, so that the ceiling sticks just far enough over the edge for you to place a wall underneath. Then attach walls down to the ground that you can use as a guide for where to place the elevator. Maybe try on SP first, just spawn stuff in and see how it works best. That's how I'd do it.
