I don't think they would be op or replace the rock drake at all, because of 1 big thing: megalanias use stamina while climbing. Regardless of how good your bred and imprinted lizard is, you're gonna be running through a loooot of stamina if you intend on avoiding every danger in the red and blue zones. I don't think it would even be possible to go through the entirety of each of those biomes just on the wall or ceiling, since there aren't that many high ledges to land on for stam. A lizard can't outrun a reaper (and most other dangerous dinos) and it certainly can't outrun wild drakes, so it's not op and can't be used to run drake eggs. It would be a middle tier, between the limited vertical mobility of ravs and the extreme mobility of drakes. Which is what it should have been from the start, given the lizard's introduction in the update video. Also the difficulty of getting enough kibble for a good breeding pair, but that's doable.
