What an intriguing discovery survivors, can you guess what this creature is? Code of Conduct Changes! The Enforcement Team are back again with another important notice regarding the Code of Conduct. We'd like to make Official Players aware of the following 2 revisions: Revision Hacking and Exploiting Quote - Using cliff platforms to prevent tribes from building in their own bases - Floating structures or structures that extend past normal building limits on platform saddles or rafts for PVP purposes Be aware of and respect the rules of the Official Server Code of Conduct, which you can read in it's full form here: https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/code-of-conduct/ Upcoming Server Maintenance! At 1pm Eastern on August 1st we will be taking down a few servers for maintenance to move these servers to new hardware. We expect maintenance to last for approximately 2 hours. Check the post below to see which servers will be affected: In addition, the remaining Fresh servers currently online on console and PC will be joining the main cluster tomorrow at 1pm. If you're currently playing on a Fresh server, expect brief downtime at that time as your server joins the rest of the network. Community Livestream #5 This Thursday! This Thursday August 2nd the community team will be doing another biweekly livestream! During these livestreams Zen Rowe, Chris, and Jen bring you ARK news, celebrate modding, and the community as a whole every other week. We mix it up between playing ARK, showing off mods, and showing off your community creations for all to see. Survivors are invited to join us in the chat (and sometimes even in-game) to play and talk with the community team. We are accepting any type of ARK related fanart to be featured in the Showcase section of the stream and entries are always open. This can be drawings, videos, builds, ANSEL screenshots, handmade crafts, anything ARK related! gilgamesh9 Posted July 30, 2018 Share Posted July 30, 2018 (edited) The owl? should be called a nightstalker and mostly come out at night and be super aggressive towards flyers and all survivors caught outside. Death from above! The terror of the night! Also i just thought of this: so scorched earth has sand storms.....extinction should have element storms that aggro all wild dinos for five minutes. Myosapien Posted July 30, 2018 Share Posted July 30, 2018 It should pick riders of flyers during the night and drop them. Flying around is too safe. Especially when done high out of turret range. DRACK3n Posted July 30, 2018 Share Posted July 30, 2018 Another evo event and our rag server still at cap cos of all the newbies joining the server due to Xbox sales for this game we can't do nothing on our server we need more rag pve servers for Xbox and implement 19 tribes max to each server so it don't hit cap all the time as it's 9500 server and to tame u must make a tribe up first and if server already has19 tribes on server then they can't make 1 simple that way the servers don't hit cap and dont makes everyone's game poope same goes to downloading u must make a tribe on that server to be able to download also why can't they think of this there r so many ways to stop servers from hitting cap Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

RowletAlex Posted July 30, 2018 Share Posted July 30, 2018 (edited) HOLY MOTHER OF ROCKWELL WE GOT A GIANT OWL OK, so my theories/thoughts on this creature: 1, it’s definitely mount-sized. It might be a Titan (the sky god to make wyverns look weak) but judging by it’s artwork it’ll be big enough to ride. 2, it might not JUST be an owl. It shares a funny resemblance to a harpy eagle. It definitely took some inspiration from owls though. 3, it resembles a Featherlight a bit. Just saw a fleeting resemblance. 4, it’s COMPLETELY AWESOME. Cannot wait to tame it! We need an actual, well considered long term solution for the server nomadism that's been going on for months. Any x amount of new servers will go down the same road previous ones have - be good for a few weeks, cap, and turn into ghost towns as people move on to the next set. I'd like to know three things: - Does anyone whom it concerns actually READ or even just CARE about the numerous suggestions that have been made regarding cap, - Is there ANY intent on even TRYING to find a solution, and - Why is PvE treated like it doesn't even exist?
