SuperSaiyanBeezlebufo
So I just tamed a mosasaurus, but the problem is I can’t find it’s creature essence. Either it was a bug and the essence wasn’t there (unlikely) or I accidentally took it and then dropped it (very likely). Anyway I just want to know how I can get the essence back if there even is a way.
Korkan
I’ve found not every creature has one. I wanted to kill a rex and tame it using a resurrection thing you can build. I had to kill like 3 of them before one had one.
GroveStreetBecca
You have to make sure to open the wild creature inventory before you harvest it to get an Implant off of it. The only creatures that should not have implants are: Gigas Titans Untameable creatures (IE: Piranha, Eurypterid, etc.)

Pretty sure she means you can kill wild Dino's and take their implant, wild gigs don't have one, but after you tame a giga it gets one. Mainly so you can't just kill a giga and tame it by it's implant to skip the very hard taming.
Orangeo
No wild gigas have implants if you knock them out. I trapped one in 50 metal Dino gateways and then knocked it out and took the implant just to make sure nothing went wrong.
