RipRavage
So I finally got around to taming a high level Megalania and I noticed their damage is pretty bad and they have trouble fitting in a lot of caves. So does anybody know what uses they actually have or what caves they can actually fit in? Or are they just for giving cave STD to other players? Graf1cs
I like to take them to carno island cave on the island map.

I feel like the megalania would get shredded with the low attack stack and HP in that cave.
Graf1cs
More of a strategic way of being able to climb up and down the cave walls to get to the bottom for artifact runs. I dont sit and fight the megas in there, just climb away from them. They're amazing wall climbers.
yekrucifixion187
They are mostly a useful PvP tame. Great ambushers as you can hide them on walls and ceilings to drop down on raiders. For PvE use, it's all about the breeding pair. You mate them and hatch the eggs and there are two toxin in the babies inventory. Toxin is a trophy for the Monkey fight which is the go to fight to farm element on the island.
ChargingParacerParacer
Their use is to be fed to actual useful carnivores. Other than that their just another useless pest creature outside of PVP like bats and Troodons.
CRUZEDOGGER
Their kibble is used for taming Megatheriums, but only gives a small advantage compared to honey for taming purposes.

I always use honey for anything that takes it, I will cry so hard when they nerf honey like they nerfed mutton.
Guest DJRone89
Take your Megalania to Aberration and have a blast on there. While the Aberrant Megalania doesn’t spawn naturally, it’s still in the game code so when the non-Aberrant version dino transfers opened, that did too. Why would you bother taking to Aberration when the Rock Drake is superior in every way. The Megalania is currently a uselss dino.

Wazzamaniac
You could potentially pump weight on it and have it stick up a wall inside your base. Would act as a sort of wall/ceiling vault whilst not taking up any space on the floor of the room

You get a Rock Drake pretty late, but if you have already tamed a Megalania on another server you can transfer it to Aberration and you have a good wall climber for the start.
