kmgibson66 Posted July 7, 2018 Share Posted July 7, 2018 We have a player on our private server who is experiencing a sound issue in Ark. He can not hear game sounds in his game. He can hear startup music but then in game nothing. He adjusted all settings, uninstalled and reinstalled game, even got a new headset to see if that will help. Funny thing is it works in other games just not Ark. Any ideas? He even went to an official server to try it out, still no sound in the game. Any suggestions appreciated. Ronson12 Posted July 8, 2018 Share Posted July 8, 2018 I've had a similar issue for a long time, a good year or more. When swimming underwater the ocean sound is deafening. I go to options, mute all sounds and when you dive under the water the sounds still there and very loud. When your tame breaks the surface water all sounds are muted.
