pr0D3uc3 Posted October 31, 2018 Share Posted October 31, 2018 why not just make more servers... only let a certain amount of tribes aloud if the cap is 5500 and each tribe gets 500 only allow 11 tribes per server then no servers will cap... Elea Posted November 2, 2018 Share Posted November 2, 2018 Crypods should have been implemented a long time ago, and easily accessible. As an aberration item, it's gonna be hard to get and keep runing, so ppl wont use it as they should to empty the servers. But it was a good idea do ! The marathon-style approach on new servers is sadly gone due to the new PvE meta, which is to race to level 13 so you can build wood pillars and ladders to block off the map to slow down everyone else in the area. I have seen people on SE servers offering to sell people land they have pillared off. Everything is a commodity, including dinos, land, resources. It is a race to figure out the best way to try and take advantage of people (and depending on the tribe/survivor, straight-up grief people), and tame-capping in most scenarios is beneficial to taking advantage of people. Then people feel like they have to buy dinos, land, whatever, because there is no legitimate way to get it due to one or 2 sitting on a tribe+storage tribe absorbing close to 1000 dinos, whose playtime consists of flying around the map to reset their approximated 20% of the (good spots to build) map that the single tribe has pillared.
