looking for a "softcore" mod or guideline

Hi all,

I really like hardcore play but, on my server with Ragnarok map it was unplayable : nearly each time I quit, when i log back I start falling from sky and die....

Then, my server is a RP one and I want to make death really anoying without really wiping your character as hardore => Death is a great injury that take time to heal

My Idea is to found/make a mod that caps your Hit Points at a very low level (5% ?) for a long time (15 game days without proper healing?)  each time you die. That to make staying alive better than dying for any reason.

Doe's a mod exist's ?

If not, what direction do I take to mod this ?
