I've tried most of what i could find on the internet but to no avail. I've only been getting the timed out message when trying to join a friend's server. Nuggie Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 The way I understand it works is you have to download the regular game files then the prim+ files after that. Some that overwrite the regular files you just downloaded. Taking longer than 10 minutes it is clearly a very large download. I installed an SSD specifically to help with my 15 minute downloads. It shaved off 2-3 minutes. Not a huge reduction. Rather anti climatic. What are your download speeds? If you're out in a rural area far away from fiber lines you might be in a tough spot for finishing the download before it times out. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
