Lauren650
Sorry if this has been answered, tried a search but nothing relevant came up. In patch notes a while pack it was mentioned that we would be able to transfer non ab dinos into ab from other servers. Is this possible yet? I fancy taking my megalania over there for its climbing ability.
Lauren650
Never mind. Found it x Actually maybe not. So it's only vanilla versions of the dinos you already get on Ab... So I can't take my megalania in? Is that right?
Hidden47
Yeah, as long as I know, you can only transfer your naked character to Aberration.
Lauren650
The patch notes say: Enabled item transfers and the vanilla-version of aberrant creatures to be moved to Aberration servers. This means that you'll be able to take over your regular Spino to an Aberration server.
Avengtank
If ur dinos have abherrant written on their name then u can transfer it to AB or else u cnt.

This is wrong, guys try and pay attention to what @Lauren650 is actually saying. @Lauren650 To clarify for you, you can take any vanilla dino over that naturally spawns on Aberration. For example, Aberrant Spino means you can take a vanilla Spino you have tamed on any other map. As for your question regarding Megalania, that is a no as it does not naturally spawn on Aberration. Even if it was originally transferable in SP due to existence of its aberrant variant which never has a natural spawn?

Well I don't know about single player, I don't play it on that. But i'm confused by what you say. "transferrable in SP due to existence of its aberrant variant which never has a natural spawn?" what aberrant doesn't have a natural spawn? Lauren650
The megalania. The game files for an Aberrant one exist, the devs just turned off its wild spawn because they decided not to use it lest it detract from the Drakes climb ability. (according to the wiki and some googling) Sod it. I'll just try when I get get to an obelisk
Emile8437
blah megalania are so great , they are a underrated dino!
cce2002
You can bring any dino to Aberration as long it also exists as Aberrant form Dino. So Raptor, Dire bear, spinos, etc.

There ARE Aberrant Spiders and Megalania in the game file, they just never added the spawn points for them (Unlike, say, Thylacs and other creatures, where the only Aberrant version of them are found in mods)
erase
has anyone tried to transfer a Megalania into aberration on official? I mean if it's in the game files, maybe it works right?..
