SubjeqtZero Posted May 26, 2018 Share Posted May 26, 2018 The gamertag that’s hosting can’t play. Most people set up a separate gamertag to host the server. Doesn’t have to have a gold subscription. Set the Xbox that’s hosting the server as your home Xbox, so it shares your gold subscription with anyone who logs in, create a new gamertag, and host the server with that gamertag. tadragrac Posted May 29, 2018 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Easier just join one of the unofficial pc servers with your friends, and you won't have to have two xbox's, many are cross linked with other servers; so you can get the full ARK experience without the hassles of official servers.
