No, im saying that there are other companies who hype up the next expansion over a year in advance and we still have nothing.  Guess we just have to wait for them to make an announcement, then delay it 6 months, then release it.

You’re still trying to compare an indie team to bigger companies.

Ark went into development towards the end of 2014, released on Steams early access program in June 2015, and finally releasing in full in August 2017. The game has spent most of its development in early access but its not even been a year since its full release.

You saying other companies hype up DLC a year in advance, had that been the case for Ark, many people would be pissed that the devs would have the audacity to do so when full release of the game was still a couple months out. Scorched Earth was met with a lot of criticism remember?

My guess would be Extinction releasing on Ark’s 1 year anniversary from full launch, in August. At the earliest.

Because it was paid DLC during a early access, and it was shortly after they lost the lawsuit for being shady as raptor, and they werent fixing the issues with the game but instead cashing in on DLC.  However, none of that is relevant when the game is post-launch and could easily drop a screenshot to get us all talking about it.  The ARK community is dying, and anything to do with future content could possibly spark that right back up.

Shady? It was a non compete agreement breech....nothing to do with making a DLC.

A three year old game community declining ?! Who would have thought! XD Its almost like other companies release games as well!

@ChargingParacerParacer What do you mean by that? Aberration was their best DLC yet.

Sure was forgotten by the masses pretty fast for it being their 'best' dlc.

So you claim.

You keep telling yourself that broski, because scorched earth didn't get rushed out the door on the same week that they had to pay up all that cash for being shady.  Also, SE is played significantly more than AB is, AB servers are mostly ghost towns.
