Pudge
I've always wanted to tame a mosa but i could never succeed in knocking it so i was wondering if there was a trap design out there that could be used for a mosa and maybe also a plesiosaur
AdligerAdler
Yep. Watch this. I built this and it helped me. Just watch out for leedsychthis since this method depends on a raft. Could let basilos set on aggressive follow the raft.

And after using it once or twice the structure glitched and half of it remained stationary floating in the water and the other half of it stayed connected to the raft. Same can happen to platform saddle srructures. Just relog. 36 minutes ago, johnm81 said: Best bet is to tame squid then grab the mosa and tranq it that way. Not on PvE. I know about the relogging to fix the client server structure/platform desync. What happened to me is something different. Relogging didn't work. Other players were seeing what I did. 1 hour ago, AdligerAdler said: Not on PvE. What is that? .... lol j/k you are right wont work on pve. GooGee
Once you have a Plesiosaur, you can build a platform saddle trap. Black: foundation gray: ceiling red: pillar blue: top ceiling Its height needs to be at least 6 pillars height. The front pillars gap is 3 ceilings width, otherwise, can't get Mosasaurus in. Just swim toward a Plesiosaur or a Mosasaurus and trap it. It might take some practice. Tested, it still works!
