DarkXDevil
Hello I have a slight fear of open dark oceans so i know that on the modded maps the ocean is like 100x the size and depth of the islands oceans, well i have a 257 squid that i tamed well it can handle everything in the water but its just really dark. How do i help this due to me being on xbox its a massive pain to use gamma due to me not remembering the command and just distaste for non required commands ( required commands being destroywilddinos and other stuff of that nature ) , do i just need 300 high level anglers? because it was just super dark and i checked there was no fog perfect night just super dark. Am i just out of luck...? Any help would be appreciated

Really not a lot you can do outside of Anglers and Gamma if trying to light the way while using your Squid. off the squid you can attach a flashlight to a pistol and the light can still be used even if the gun can't. Frogspoison
Hrmm, do they have mods for Xbox? I know that on PC for single player, Crystal Clear water mods removes the darkness portion of it all. Otherwise, your choices are basically just use the various light-giving items, or experiment with your settings until you remove the darkness. Jamage007
It doesnt seem too dark to me and im on Xbox too. Maybe ajust tv brightness or in game. If you can get a light pet from Ab that might help a bit. I know at least Bulbdogs can survive underwater.
Arielzhou
Turn your gamma up and use a gas mask. These are a god send when it comes to ocean exploring, they get rid if all the murkiness in the water when you're in first person view. I usually keep my gamma at 4 during the day and 5 at night, as well as bring 2-3 gas masks.
SS5DEJAN
Ive seen some youtube videos I think from Syntac , where his underwater is completely lit up and see through just like the surface. I have no idea how he did it though.
