AdligerAdler
Following scenario: I parked my spinos against my behemoth gate wall as close as possible to save space. Their long tails are now poking through the gates into the outside world. Can rexs, pegos etc. aggro on the tails? Or are the tails invisible to them? What's your experience? Xxtheclashxx
I had wild Gigas stick over half their body through a behemoth gate, and SEE Dinosaurs down a hill inside of a building with nothing sticking out. Many problems with the game yet.

No. They are safe.
yekrucifixion187
I don't have issues. Carno's, saber's, and raptor's poke their stupid faces through my walls all the time looking right at Anky's and me, never have aggro or attack issues. MandyH
I have had all sorts trying to attack my dinos through a metal wall, I do have dinos with their tails sticking out of the walls and get danger music but they can't damage the dinos. Only problem had is wild dinos getting into base when it de-render and re-render killing us but not harming the dinos because of orp.

Have never heard of that happening to anyone before, are you sure that there wasn't something else going on - something in your base set on aggressive, walls near the BE gate not being tall enough ( 8 tiles high to prevent giga's ) or... something else? Have never heard of any case of a wild dino aggro'ing through a gate + a building wall. Not trying to give you a hard time, but that sounds like you're misdiagnosing what happened. Xxtheclashxx
No. Passive all. The building with dinos that got aggro was another building in walls equal to a behemoth gate height.
Xxtheclashxx
Another prime example. A raptor somehow killed all 3 of us inside of a small 2x6 "stone building after we all logged off. Lost good items. I logged in to see a respawn screen
Palenor
Generally speaking, they are safe. Just keep it so that only the tails are sticking through. If the back legs are sticking through, sometimes the smaller dinos can eat them, Pego, Titanoboa etc.
mecandbuttons
Answer yes. Case in point your fire wyvern level 180 was killed by pego level 20. Wyvern inside of gate tails sticking out. Pego was outside of gate. Wyvern had been in same spot for a while. when it died I went to check what was going on an outside the gate was the pego.
